The possibility of Sergio Rodriguez leaving Real Madrid for the NBA is not far fetched, as “El Mundo Deportivo” revealed. Three NBA teams, among them Denver, are interested on the player, however the offer that he wants to get in order to leave Madrid has to be lucrative.
According to the same report, the Spanish guard wants at least a three year contract with an annual salary of 6 millions dollars in order to make the jump back to the NBA. Rodriguez will have to pay also a two millions euros buy out to Real Madrid, a sum which is almost the half of what his teammate Sergio Llull will have to pay in order to buy out his contract and play for the Houston Rockets.
