His name was heard among others also for Panathinaikos, but Sasha Obradovic decided to stay in Berlin for one more season.
As Alba announced the two sides decided to continue their collaboration by not opting out from their current contract which is valid until the summer of 2016. Obradovic himself said: “Berlin is the second home for me and my family. I can’t wait for the challenges of next season, because what we are building here is not finished yet. We will give our best in order to repeat our good results and success also next season”.
Alba Berlin is one of the teams which are among the leading candidates for a Euroleague wildcard, given also the fact that next year’s Final Four is going to be held at Berlin.
