After the meeting of Valencia in Belgrade with Misko Raznatovic, the agent of Nemanja Nedovic, the scenario of the Serbian guard leaving the team stays on ice for the moment.
Despite the reports about him being on the exit door, Valencia has other priorities with the biggest of them being the situation of Pau Ribas. Ribas is expected to get offers from Barcelona, Real Madrid – if Sergio Llull leaves as expected for Houston – and also from abroad. Valencia is going to exercise the right of “tanteo”, the Spanish version of making Ribas a “restricted” free agent, and that means that his future may be decided near the end of July. Without him, Valencia has four guards under contract, Van Rossom, Nedovic, Vives and Martinez.
Meanwhile the team has to build a new front line and the first player who may be added is Luke Sikma from Iberostar Tenerife.
