Loukas Mavrokefalidis is between Spain and Russia, while he hasn’t received yet an offer from his ex-team, Panathinaikos. So, it seems that he will continue his career abroad.
The 30-year old Greek big guy is too high in Unicaja’s shortlist, as soon as he has an offer for a two-year contract for about one million euros in total. Malaga raised the money in the comparison with its first offer that Diario Sur revealed.
On the other hand, Mavrokefalidis has in his hands offer also from Zenit St. Petersburg to come back in the city where he played in his maybe two most productive years in his career (2011-13). The Russian team gives him more money (1,4 mill. euros for two years), but Mavrokefalidis hasn’t decided yet. Meanwhile he is waiting maybe for another team who might be interested also.
