Giannis Athinaiou seems to be the ideal player who can complete the backcourt of Olympiacos as the fifth guard of the team. As Gazzetta.gr reports and Eurohoops sources confirm, the Greek guard is expected to sign with the Reds.
Athinaiou (27, 1.94 m.) finished last season in AEK and the Greek league champions believe that he provide some quality minutes from the bench, being the man for the special assignments.
Athinaou has been coached in the past by Giannis Sfairopoulos in Panionios and that’s also a factor.
