Panathinaikos is a breath away from signing Miroslav Raduljica and strengthening their frontline. The “greens” are also in advanced negotiations with Nikola Milutinov.
After the acquisition of Sasa Pavlovic, Sasa Djordjevic set the reinforcement of the frontline as his first primary objective. Miroslav Raduljica is his “chosen one” as he highly appreciates his offensive talent. Besides, in last year’s Mundobasket, under “Sale’s” instructions, Raduljica had an excellent tournament with 13 points and 4,6 rebounds per game.
Raduljica played in China last year and made a short stop through the Minnesota Timberwolves. He tried once again to get a contract in the NBA with the 2013-14 season in the Milwaukee Bucks as his… passport, but he didn’t make it and decided to look elsewhere. Panathinaikos’s offer is very good and it is expected that the agreement between the two sides will soon be finalized.
At the same time, the “greens” are looking at another Serbian bigman. It looks like Nikola Milutinov is going to leave Partizan and is in advanced negotiations with Panathinaikos. Djordjevic wants to invest in the 20-year-old center’s talent and as long as another option is not found, it seems like he will ask Milutinov to sign with Panathinaikos.
