Despite finishing the season strong with the Knicks, Alexei Shved has not been offered a deal that he would like in the NBA and he is ready to return to Europe.
His agent, Obrad Fimic admitted in TASS press agency: “We’ve had offers from three clubs in the NBA, but we are not satisfied. Now we are ready to consider proposals from Europe. There’s already interest, including from Russia and Spain”.
The natural front runner for Shved’s services should have been CSKA Moscow, but the team has a loaded back court. Barcelona which also needs a boost in the guards can be considered also a possible destination.
