Alexei Shved is near his European return and his destination is expected to be his home country, Russia, and Khimki Moscow.
Despite finishing the season strong with the Knicks, before getting injured on the ribs, Shved didn’t get from New Yorkh an offer that matched his wish, the 2,8 m. $ exception. As his agent explained, his back up option was a return to Europe and at this point his negotiations with Khimki are more than advanced, according to sources close to the situation.
Khimki is the defending Eurocup winner, which prepares for the upcoming Euroleague season, having already a loaded backcourt which includes the Eurocup MVP and former Euroleague Final Four MVP Tyrese Rice and also former draft pick Petteri Koponen.
