According to Israeli reports and sources, Alex Tyus is leaving Maccabi Tel Aviv, but not for Khimki. His destination will be Panathinaikos, as the two sides have very advanced negotiations.
Tyus had a great offer by Khimki, the two sides were near a deal, but the priorities of the Russian team changed and the Greens got into the picture. At this point the negotiations have gained momentum and the final agreement is near, while the Greek team is expected also to announce today the addition of Miroslav Raduljica.
With Tyus also onboard and Calathis signed, Panathinaikos is building a much stronger roster than the one the club had last season.
