Stratos Perperoglou is being released by Anadolu Efes, despite having a second year of contract, and the next stop in his career will be Spain. To be exact he is ready to sign with Barcelona which was searching for a small forward.
Olympiacos, the former team of Perperoglou, was also interested in his services, however Barcelona can give him a salary near the one he got in Anafolu Efes, close to 850.00 euros. According to sources from Spain, the negotiations between the Greek player and the Catalans are in their final stage. Lokomotiv Kuban of former Olympiacos coach Giorgos Bartzokas is also rumored to be interested on Perperoglou.
Perperoglou on board will also mean the end of DeShaun Thomas presence in the roster of Barcelona.
