Cantu turned many heads by signing Metta World Peace in the last part of last season and bringing the former NBA All Star to Italy. And now the two sides are ready for more.
According to the Italian newspaper “Correire Dello Sport” Metta World Peace, a.k.a. Ron Artest, is ready to sign for one more season with the club, a move that will keep Cantu on the forefront of the Italian league. The club is also expected to play in the new “Eurocup” which will be organized by FIBA and it will be rival to the current version of Eurocup.
