Despite coming from a season in which he was battling injuries, Victor Khryapa will be the captain of CSKA at least for one more season. The experienced forward signed a new 1+1 contract with the army team.
An icon for the modern age of CSKA, Khryapa is more than happy to stay: “CSKA is a team where I play most of my career. I would like to thank the club as well as my agents Vadim Mikhalevskiy and Obrad Fimic for the work well done and for the quickness in agreeing on all the nuances. I am happy to continue the cooperation which benefits both sides, I want to continue to fight for the highest goals and most important titles, to please the dedicated fans and to distress the opponents with my game. CSKA will always be the first!”
