Now it’s official! Carlos Arroyo signed with Barcelona for 1 seasons and the Spanish club announced his addition on Friday! The experienced point guard is coming back to Europe and Euroleague basketball after his departure from Galatasaray during the previous season cause of the financial problems of the club.
Arroyo averaged 12.5 points and 4.3 assists in 15 Euroleague games last season. He finished the season with Cangrejeros de Santurce in Puerto Rico, averaging 14.7 points and 6.5 assists. Barcelona counting on his quality and domination ability and truth is that instead his age, Carlos Arroyo proved the previous Euroleague season that he remains in really good shape and he is capable of influenicing the game with his high quality execution, creation and decisions.
