Fenerbahce/ Ulker is going to have a starting center coming to Europe from the NBA and according to Eurohoops sources there’s a short list of players who are the candidates. Ryan Hollins, Ekpe Udoh and Bernard James are among them.
Hollins is probably the most interesting possibility. After 46 games with the Kings last season, he is the most NBA tested player of the trio and that makes him harder to get. Still Fenerbahce is following him closely during the Pan American games and nothing can be excluded.
Udoh is coming from a season in which he played in 33 games with the Clippers. He is not creating a lot of buzz in the NBA and a return to Europe, since he played in Israel during 2011, seems more like a possibility. James also played overseas, but in China. He played 16 games this season in Dallas and Europe also seems to be an interesting option for him.
It’s too early to tell who is going to be the center of Zeljko Obradovic’s team, however it’s obvious that Fenerbahce is going to make a big move.
