Martynas Pocius returns to the team in which he started his professional career in 2009. The Lithuanian guard signed again with Zalgiris, while Karsiyaka announced one more player, Muhammed Baygul.
Pocius has a deal for next year after a season in Galatasaray. After returning to Europe from Duke, Pocius played for two seasons in Zalgiris, signed with Real Madrid (2011-12) and then returned again to Kaunas (2012-13). This is the third time he is back.
The signing of Baygul is a “safe” move for Karsiyaka. The 23 years old guard comes from TED Ankara and despite the FIBA ban, he can move to Karsiyaka since his letter of clearance is already in Turkey.
