James Gist will be available for Panathinaikos from the start of the season. After an appeal by the American forward his ban was reduced by two months so the player is ready to go.
Initially the ban from the Greek league’s sport judge was for eight monts after failing an anti-drug test, but now the penalty is reduced to six months. Under the initial ban, he would be cleared to play after the 5th of December, but now he is cleared to play after the 5th of October.
