A fake instagram account in which “Kostas Papanikolaou” posted today a photo of him with an Olympiacos t-shirt was enough to spread “reports” about his return, but this is not the case.
As he clarified via his agency: “Over the last days I have focused all of my efforts on the preparation with the Greek National team. Earlier today I was informed that someone used my name to create the wrong impressions. The picture of me that was uploaded by an instagram user that claimed to be me, may led some people to believe that I am returning to Olympiakos. The “Reds” will always have a special place in my heart for everything they gave me, but right now I’m a player of Denver Nuggets and all I think about is my team and the NBA. I would like to inform everyone that my one and only profile on social media is the one on Facebook. Anything else is an effort by some people to mislead everyone. Along with my representatives, we are going to do anything necessary so as something like this will never happen in the future”.
