Matt Gatens is the new face in the roster of French champions Limoges with a one year contract. The American player is getting ready for his Euroleague debut.
According to the press release: “Gatens (1.95 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Ronesans TED Kolejliler Ankara, where he averaged 8.9 points and 3.2 rebounds in 29 Turkish League games last season, hitting 42.5% of his three-point shots and 86.8% of his free throw attempts. He has also played for Khimik OPZ Yuhzny of Ukraine and UCAM Murcia of Spain. Gatens shined in the 2013-14 Eurocup with Khimik, averaging 11.5 points on 43.6% three-point shooting in 18 games. He also helped Khimik reach the Ukrainian League finals in 2014”.
