Khimki added one more big name in its roster, solidifying itself as one of the most interesting teams of the upcoming Euroleague. Zoran Dragic who was recently released by the Celtics signed with the Russian club.
Dragic is added to an already impressive back court, which also includes an other European player who left the NBA, Alexey Shved. The Slovenian guard/ forward returns to Euroleague where he played with Unicaja, after a season in the NBA in which he played in total just in 15 games.
The deal between the player and the Russian club which at this point is the main threat to CSKA‘s local dominance, is for the next two seasons.
