Giorgos Tsalbouris is ready to turn pro and returns from Iowa State to Greece. The 19 years old power forward has a deal with AEK BC, which already agreed to terms with the player’s former team, Pierikos-Archelaos, in order to get the rights of the player.

Tsalbouris decided to leave college, after the decision of Fred Hoiberg to also leave Iowa State for the Chicago Bulls. Without the coach who recruited him, the Greek forward decided that it was time to return to his home country. Euroleague powerhouse Olympiacos was also interested for the player, but AEK, which competes in Eurocup and also in the Greek league, was the team which made the move and now the only things missing is the official announcement.
