After four straight seasons in the Euroleague, Shawn James will continue his career in the Eurocup and Bilbao. Alba announced Michael Watt and Daniel Ewing signed with Neptunas.
Shawn James spent his first three seasons in professional basketball in Bnei Hasharon and then continued his career in Maccabi Tel Aviv and Milan. Earlier this summer he was released by the Italian team and agreed with Bilbao for the next season. The American center faced many injury problems during the last year but he can help the Basques a lot with his quality and experience.
Also, Alba added Mitchell Watt who comes from Ironi Nes Ziona and also before in Hapoel Galil Gilboa. The American big man averaged 15.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists during last season and signed for the next two seasons.
Furthermore, Neptunas announced the signing of Daniel Ewing for the next season. The 32-year-old compo guard played before in Paris Levallois, Asseco Prokom Gdynia, Azovmash Mariupol, Besiktas JK Istanbul and Le Mans. He had 8.9 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in the regular season of the LNB last season.
