Real Madrid finally announced the deal with Trey Thompkins, while Crvena Zvezda locked its captain, Luka Mitrovic, until the summer of 2017.
The Euroleague champions confirmed in the case of Thompkins what was already known, after an announcement made by his previous team, Nizhny Novgorod.
Meanwhile the captain of Crvena Zvezda, Luka Mitrovic, extended his contract with the team until 2017. It’s a new era for the ABA Liga champions, after losing key members like Boban Marjanovic and Nikola Kalinic, and Mitrovic is the player who will have to teach the new additions what Zvezda means.
