Marcelo Huertas was the big target of Galatasaray for the point guard position, however Jerome Dyson is the player who is near a deal with the team and he is expected to sign a contract for next season.
The point guard who led Sassari to the Legabasket title was rumored to be in the short list of many Euroleague teams, including Olympiacos, however he is now ready to join the Turkish club and play in Eurocup and the Turkish league next season. Huertas is still exploring his possible NBA options and Galatasaray can’t wait for him any longer. So Dyson is about to travel to Istanbul.
