Marcelinho Huertas is leaving Europe for one of the most storied franchises of the NBA. The Brazilian guard as Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo!Sports reported has a deal for next season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Since the start of the summer, Huertas was looking for a chance to play in the NBA, but his name wasn’t heard in the market. That’s why many European teams tried to lure him with Galatasaray being the most persistent suitor. However, Huertas got his dream job and he will try to imitate an other South-American veteran of European basketball, Pablo Prigioni, who got an NBA contract practically at the end of his career and proved ready for the challenge.
