Khimki beat Neptunas 81-80 in the first match of “Garastas Cup”, behind Tyrece Rice’s and Paul Davis’ extraordinary performance, as they combined for 49 points!
Last year’s Eurocup title holder beat the competitive Neptunas, with the two Americans as the leaders. Rice scored 26 points on 5/10 from the three-point range, while Davis had 23 points with 11/15 field goals! The most expensive player of the Russians, Alexey Shved, scored 10 points. For the Lithuanians, Zavackas was the stop scorer with 22 points.
