A mediocre version of Olympiacos just couldn’t stay close to Bayern after the first quarter and the Bavarians got the 77-60 win thanks to a great game by Dusko Savanovic.
Spanoulis, Printezis, Hackett and Milutinov didn’t play but this is not an excuse for Olympiacos. Coach Sfairopoulos’ players missed many shots (11/21 2ps and 8/32 3ps) and finished the game with just 9 assists and 18 turnovers. Papapetrou finished with 11 points and Agravanis with 10.
On the other hand, Bayern was shooting extremely well (9/11 3ps) with Dusko Savanovic making the difference with 21 points. Deon Thompson also helped a lot with 15 points.
