Lietuvos Rytas is the big winner of the “Vladas Garastas Cup” in Klaipeda, Lithuania, after beating in the final the favorite, Khimki, by a point (85-84). Adas Juskevicius made the game winning three with 3.7 seconds to go.
Argentinian Nicolas Laprovittola who makes his European debut this season with Lietuvos Rytas was named the MVP of the tournament, while Tyrese Rice was also awarded as the best player of Khimki.
Juskevicius scored 19 points with 5/8 threes and from the loosing side as usual Tyrese Rice was the best player with 27 points and 5 assists.
