After flirts with China and the NBA, Giannis Bourousis will remain in Euroleague as he signed with Laboral Kutxa. The Greek center decided not to take his Chinese option, a deal with Shanghai Sharks, and he is ready for one more season in Spain.
According to “Gazzetta.gr” there was also interest by the New York Knicks for Bourousis, who in 2009 was a target of the San Antonio Spurs, and also the French finalists, Strasbourg, offered him a contract. In the end, the Greek center decided that the best option for him is the club of Vitoria where he signed for one season.
