Just before the tip of the BBL season, champions Brose Baskets announced the extension of coach Andrea Trinchieri’s contract untul the summer of 2017.
The 48 years old Italian helped the team regain the German championship ttle and as he said: “In the last 14 months I was able to work for a large organization. I felt at all times supported, especially in the bad days. It is much harder to coach well, if you have not a good structure in the background. It was therefore quite natural that we sit down together and talk about a contract extension. For me it is very motivating to be part of the Brose Baskets for even longer time”.
