The season in VTB started with Tyrese Rice leading Khimki to the 87-84 win over Avtodor with an impressive game. The American guard had 30 points on 9/13 field goals, while Paul Davis and Taylor Honeycutt added 11 points each. Alexey Shved had 10 points in his first official game with his new team. From the losing side Malcolm Armstead was also unstoppable with 29 points, 9 assists and just 3 turnovers.
