Fenerbahce got the win in its first ever game on American soil over the Brooklyn Nets. The final score was 101-96 for the team of coach Zelimir Obradovic, despite not using Pero Antic, Ricky Hickman and Bobby Dixon.
Jan Vesely scored 18 points, Bogdan Bodganovic had 17, Luigi Datome 16 and Kostas Sloukas had a double double with 11 points and 11 assists. Also 17 years old Omer Yurtseven added 8 points and 7 rebounds in 15 minutes of action. It was the first preparation game for the Nets, Sergey Karasev didn’t play and former Fenerbahce player Bojan Bogdanovic had just 3 points. Brook Lopez scored 18 points for the losing side.
