Maccabi Tel Aviv added center Arinze Onuaku (2.06 meters, 28 years old) on its roster with a deal until the end of the Euroleague regular season that may be extended until the end of the season.
The player arrives from Minnesota of the NBA, where he averaged 5.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 5 games last season. He started the 2014-15 season with Canton of the D-League, averaging 18.9 points and 13.3 rebounds in 18 games. Onuaku went on to play for San Miguel Beerman of the Philippines before returning to Canton and joining Minnesota. In the past he had also played for Neptunas Klaipeda in Lithuania.
