Vassilis Spanoulis has proved many times that he is an impressive player, but also has a great character. During the Novasports’ documentary “Man-to-man”, the Reds’ leader talked about Dimitris Diamantidis’ decision to retire at the end of the season. The 33-year-old player’s answer reveals the mutual respect and appreciation that exists between those two players.
“It’s not good when this kind of players decide to retire. Greek and European basketball will be poorer. I wish we enjoy our matches and the better man to be victorious this year,” said Spanoulis.
