Olympiacos and Panathinaikos started their season in the Greek ESAKE league with wins, as the Reds got an easy one at home vs Kolossos, while the Greens had to fight in Nick Galis Hall against Aris.
Nick Galis himself was the one who did the tip off of the new season, James Gist with 17 points was the top scorer of the winners and Dimitris Diamantidis came from the bench, having 12 points and 8 assists. Panathinaikos got a valuable road win, has already beaten Olympiacos in the Greek cup quarterfinal and next week they host the Reds at OAKA.
