Jamon Gordon (12 p., 7 as.) and Marcus Slaughter (10 p.) sealed the deal in overtime (83-74) after a big shot by Milko Bjelica (15 p.) for the first ever win of Dogus Darussafaka in Euroleague over feisty Dinamo Sassari which lost a big chance for a road win.

Gordon and Slaughter build a 79-71 lead in overtime with a 9-2 run which decided the final outcome. It was the defination of a close game with Sassari having just a two points lead entering the last two minutes (61-59), getting a 66-61 advantage and Bjelica sending the game to overtime with a three (66-66).

With 16 seconds left on the clock both teams lost the chance to win the game, as Marquez Haynes made a turnover and Bjelica couldn’t score one more big three. As a result extra five minutes were needed in order to have a winner.

Reggie Redding also had a good game for the hosts with 12 points and 9 rebounds, even if he shot just 1/7 two pointers. Rok Stipcevic (14 p.), Haynes (12) and Joe Alexander (11 p.) scored in double digits for the losing side, but with Darussafaka having a 57-31 advantage in rebounding, it was a small miracle that Sassari was in the game until the last moment.
