In an interview on krepsinis.net, Tomas Delininkaitis revealed that he has an offer from AEK Athens, for which he also played last year.
The 33-year-old guard mentioned that he would like to return to Greece, although he said it would be better for him to continue his career in Lithuania. “I would like to sign with a Lithuanian team, because I want to be closer to my home. I have some offers, though, from some foreign teams. My former squads, AEK Athens and Konyaspor, have shown an interest to sign me. I played for the Greek team last year, while I was in Konyaspor a year before (2013-14). Both clubs owe me money, however AEK has started paying me off. The debt remains, though. I would like to return to AEK, they have made a good offer to me, but everything will depend on the team. Maybe I will go back, maybe not.”
