Eurohoops presents you the full schedule of Euroleague’s Regular Season Round 2! You can check the TV Broadcasting of all games of the week through to our Game Center (at TV Info) and get to know all the impotant notes of the upcoming battles.
Game of the week: Laboral Kutxa – Olympiacos
23 October, CET 20.30 Fernando Buesa Arena
In recent seasons this particular encounter has developed into one of the most frequent and traditional in the league, with thrilling games, especially in Vitoria! The home team are coming from the defeat in Milano and it’s very likely they will be tough on the finalists of last year’s Euroleague.
Olympiacos started out victoriously in the Euroleague with a win against Cedevita, but they’re coming from two consecutive defeats from Panathinaikos in Greek competitions and have found themselves under pressure from early on with some issues of chemistry and effectiveness in their offensive game.

Things worth knowing
- Efes have never lost at home to Armani Milano in their history! They count 10 wins in as many games, starting with the Korac Cup final in 1996.
- Devin Smith is getting ready to play in the starting line-up for the 100th time in his career and he will be added to a list of 40 players who have achieved something similar!
- Bayern and Khimki will face each other for the first time in their history! Also, Tyrese Rice and K.C. Rivers are going to play against their former teams.
- Panathinaikos counts a 21-1 record at home against Turkish teams. It’s been ten years since their last defeat. That was against Efes in the Top16, in the 2005-6 season. They are facing the newcomers to the institution, Karsiyaka, for the first time.
- Dimitris Diamantidis has scored 2,322 points in the Euroleague and he needs another 6 to surpass Igor Rakocevic and slide in 9th place on the All-time Scorers list.
- Sergio Llull needs another 10 assists to slide into 9th place on the relevant list and surpass J.R. Holden.
Mantas Kalnietis is going to face the team he played for in the last 3 seasons, the only years in his career that he spent away from Zalgiris! - Strasbourg and Fenerbahce are going to play each other for the first time.
- The same goes for the Sassari-CSKA pair.
- Yet another encounter that we are going to see for the first time! Barcelona – Zielona Gora.
