Eurohoops picks the game of the week, presents the schedule of the 3rd round of action and points out the milestones in the making that you need to know for this regular season week.

This time we can’t just chose one, but we have two more than important games of the week, as FC Barcelona Lass hosts Panathinaikos and Fenerbahce Istanbul has to play against Real Madrid.

Barcelona – Panathinaikos

29 October CET: 21.00 Palau Blaugrana

Barcelona has eight straight wins against Panathinaikos and a total advantage of 22 wins in 34 games. Still that doesn’t mean that you can easily predict the outcome. It’s still early in the season, both teams have a 1-1 record and both of them still need a big win in order to get things going.

Fenerbahce Istanbul – Real Madrid

30 October CET: 18.00 Ulker Sports Arena

The repeat of last season’s semifinal at Madrid. The champs and the hosts, however, have started the season also with a 1-1 record and they need a good result. The situation seems to be even worst for coach Zeljko Obadovic’s team, because Fenerbahce is coming from two defeats, one by SIG Strasbourg in France for Euroleague and one by Konya for the Turkish Super league. We expect a thrilling game.
