Veteran coach Vlado Djurovic attacked the Greek center Sofoklis Schortsanitis who was released by Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade and he is about to sign with PAOK BC.
As Djurovic said: “I knew from the first moment that it was a bad move. He is a circus, not a player. Probably it was a good marketing move, but not much else. He is heavy and slow. He couldn’t deliver what the fans of Zvezda wanted. They got him in order to replace Marjanovic? He can’t get close to Boban. Tell in which team Schortsanitis really had a career? I believe that Stimac, his replacement, is a much more efficient player. He has heart, unlike Sofo”.
