As it was expected the last few days, Sofoklis Shortsanitis was announced today as the new member of PAOK Salonica. The experienced big greek man signed his new contract with the club and he will start working with his new team on Thursday.
Big Sofo terminated his deal with Red Star the previous week and accepted the offer of PAOK. His new deal has Euroleague out option available to be used until the start of the second round of Euroleague Top 16. If he finds another offer which will lead him to a Euroleague return, he is free to go. If not, he will continue his adventures in Eurocup and he will finish the current season as a member of the Greek club.
