Fenerbahce made a great performance in the first half (31-45) and easily prevailed over Crvena Zvezda 60-74 on the road. This was the third victory for the Turks, while the Serbians suffered their third defeat.
For the winners, Pero Antic had 14 points and seven rebounds, as three more players were in double digits. On the other hand, Vladimir Stimac scored 13 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the losing squad.
In the beginning, Fenerbahce executed very well offensively and easily had a six-point advantage at the end of the first quarter (19-25). In the second quarter, Zeljco Obradovic‘s players were unstoppable on both ends of the floor, outscored their opponents 12-20 and extended their lead to 14 points after 20 minutes in the game (31-45).
In the second half, nothing changed significantly. The Turkish team easily retained their lead to double digits and claimed a much-needed win, as the Serbians were unable to make a big come-back and made a mediocre performance both defensively and offensively.
