Big move for Darussafaka with Aldemir

By Eurohoops Team/ info@eurohoops.net

Furkan Aldemir decided to return to Europe and as expected he signed a contract for the next four years with Dogus Darussafaka.

The Turkish big guy left Galatasaray one year ago (mid December 2014) and moved to the NBA by agreeing terms with Sixers. However, he was waived by the Sixers few days before the start of this season.

It was rumored the last couple of days that Darussafaka lured him and eventually he signed a contract for the next four years. The Euroleague newcomers show with that move that they want to build a solid team with quality Turkish players. And despite reports about the opposite, there’s no buy out to be paid to Aldemir’s former team Galatasaray.
