Limoges had an excellent second quarter with a 20-9 partial score and it proved to be enough. The French got the 74-65 win over EA7 Emporio Armani Milan which couldn’t get back into the game after the first half.

In theory the Italians have the firepower, but in this game Limoges shot 9/20 threes and that was a key number for the outcome. Nobel Boungou Colo had 18 points for the winners on 4/6 threes, Heiko Shaffartzik added 14 points on 3/5 threes and Ali Traore was perfect with 15 points on 7/7 field goalds and also 7 rebounds.

Alessandro Gentile tried to save the day by himself, he scored 19 points on 7/14 two pointers but he also had 0/6 threes, bringing the offensive downfall of his team. However Milan had in total an off shooting night with Oliver Lafayette scoring 1/5 threes and Krunoslav Simon adding 1/6 for a miserable total of 4/25 shots.

Milan had the 21-19 lead after the first quarter, but the half time score was 39-30 for Limoges and things didn’t change after that. Limoges has now a 2-3 record and the advantage over EA7 Milan which dropped to 1-4 and the last position of the group B standings.
