Nick Calathes is more than solid during this start of the season and Othello Hunter will be a starter for Olympiacos after Patric Young’s injury.
As you can guess everything in fantasy is a matter of timing. The right decisions are judged by when they are taken and after the start of the second round in Euroleague’s regular season you have to take a lot into account the next opponent and the stakes of its contest.
Eurohoops team has already 645 credits by winning 29,5 more last week, so now we have to pick the best possible players. Laboral Kutxa’s roster – with the exception of Giannis Bourousis – is not underrated anymore, that’s why we will sell Adam Hanga and Darius Adams, even if EA7 Milano is not the strongest opponent. Richard Hendrix is also a good pick, but Brose Baskets is a strong team around the paint and we will not take that risk.
Shved, Ponitka and Theiss have produced in their first week with the team, Kuzminskas is hot, Heurtel is expected to have a good night against Limoges, while Claver is still a player who costs less than the credits he gives.
On the point guard position, Nick Calathes is probably the best pick. The Greek American guard played last season with a special splint in his right middle finger and he still produced a 14 raking, proving that he is always going to be useful.
On the front line, Othello Hunter is a must. He is cheap (30,3 credits), he will play 20+ minutes because of Young’s absence and he is expected to deliver for Olympiacos. Our last pick can be expensive and that’s why we will go with Alessandro Gentile. The Italian leader of EA7 Emporio Armani Milano he averaged 31 mpg, 19,2 ppg, 4,2 rpg and 4,4 asp, getting 12 or more shots per game. So we expect him to do that again.
