An explosive third quarter was enough for the New York Knicks to take a significant advantage and beat the Charlotte Hornets 102-94.
But, the MVP of the match wasn’t Carmelo Anthony, as the Knicks’ superstar ended the game with 18 points on 6 for 18 shooting. The team’s leader, though, was Kristaps Porzingis!
The Latvian exploded again and scored a career-high 29 points on 10 for 17 shooting, being perfect from the free-throw line as well (7/7). He also grabbed 11 rebounds in his best NBA performance so far.
On the other hand, Charlotte’s point guard, Kemba Walker was unstoppable with 31 points, but couldn’t lead his squad to victory.
