Brose Baskets needed the road win over Dogus Darussafaka in order to qualify to Top16 and got it. The final score was 65-54 as the German champs build a lead in the third quarter and kept it until the end.

Nikolo Melli with 7 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 blocks was once more the key player for the win, against an opponent who was on a bad shooting day and couldn’t overcome the defense of the guests. When Brose Baskets got a 50-39 half way in the third quarter, Darussafaka tried to react, however the hosts shot in total 13/43 (30%) two-point shots and 3/17 (17%) in threes. Their saving grace was 19/23 free throws, still the Germans with just 26/64 field goals were in total control.

Daniel Theis with 13 points and Bradley Wanamaker with 11 were the only players of the winners who scored in double digits. From the other side Jamon Gordon led the way with 13 points, he cut the lead of Brose Baskets to six points (57-51) with four minutes left, but Janis Strelnieks answered with a three and the game was over.
