Laboral Kutxa Vitoria Gasteiz destroyed CSP Limoges (92-56) and secured their place in the Top16. Not much can be said about a game which ended being a one team show.
The hosts had a 29-15 lead after the first period, the half time score was 54-29 and after three quarters they had a 30 points advantage (73-43). Limoges was not ready for this game and couldn’t react at any point. Darius Adams needed less than 19 minutes in order to score 23 points, Giannis Bourousis had a double double (10 p., 10 r.) and also 6 assists with ease and Toko Shengelia added 11 points, while Leo Westermann with 14 points was the only scorer in double digits for the French champs. Baskonia was better in every part of the game, however what really hurt Limoges was shooting just 3/15 threes while having 18 turnovers.
Laboral Kutxa had to wait until the end of the game of Olympiacos against EA7 Milano and the win of the Greeks in order to seal its Top16 spot. Two tickets are left for grabs in Group B and in theory Limoges still has some small chances, but those are a long shot.
