Olympiacos missed Vasilis Spanoulis and Matt Lojeski got injured again during the game. Still in the end the Reds beat EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (73-63) and the Italians are on the verge of missing the Top16.

D.J.Strawberry with 16 points and the biggest shot of the game, a three that made the score 69-57 fot the Greeks with 1.36” left before the final buzzer, was the hero of the game. Olympiacos build a double digits lead with a 13-2 run in the middle of the last quarter and that was the key point of the match. The Italians couldn’t get back in the game, despite the fact that they were fighting for their lives.  Still with just 10 players on the roster, captain Alessandro Gentile missing and facing Olympiacos defense, they couldn’t close the game the right way.

Nikola Milutinov scored 12 points for the winners, while Andrea Cinciarini and Charles Jenkins with 12 points were the top scorers of the winners. Olympiacos had better numbers in every aspect of the game with the only exception being the three points shooting, but with EA7 Milano getting just six extra points from this part of the game. EA7 Milano can still make it to Top16, but now they have to beat Cedevita Zagreb on the road.
