Sergey Bazarevich, Vasily Karasev and Italian Andrea Trinchieri are the candidates for the bench of the Russian national team.
Both Bazarevich and Karasev have been coaches of the Russian U-20 team and Trinchieri is a former coach of the Greek national team. Bazarevich is currently the only coach without a team. Trinchieri is also sitting on the bench of the German champions Brose Baskets and Karasev is the coach of Zenit St. Petersburg.
That seems to make Bazarevich the main candidate.
