A 15-0 run by Khimki at the end of the game decided the outcome in Strasbourg. The guests got the crucial 78-69 win and with a 5-4 record qualified for Top16.

With seven minutes left the score was 66-63 in favor of the hosts, but Khimki had the last word with the trio of Alexey Shved, Marko Todorovic and Tyler Honeycutt making the difference at  the end, with Khimki having a 78-66 lead two minutes before the final buzzer. Those three players were also the best of the winners with Shved scoring 23 points, Todorovic finishing the game with 14 points and 7 rebounds, while Honeycutt having a career night. The American forward had an amazing game with 15 points, 19 rebounds, 4 assists in no turnovers.

Strasbourg had the situation under control for three quarters, Kyle Weems with 14 points and Rodrigue Beaubois with 13 had a good game, still the quality difference and the depth of the two opponents were evident in crunch time. This result combined with the win of Real Madrid against Bayern Munich send Khimki Moscow Region to the Top16.
